Mohammed and Fawzeih al-Kurd have been evicted by Israeli police from a tent where they were living after Israeli authorities demolished their home.
Last week, police removed the couple from their east Jerusalem home, after living there for 50 years. Then the house was destroyed.
On Wednesday police removed the couple from the tent in which they had moved next to the demolished home. The tent was on public property, police said.
During Wednesday’s operation, three foreign activists and one Palestinian were arrested.
The al-Kurds’ eviction was ordered by an Israeli court after a Jewish group claimed that Jews owned the land, based on Ottoman-era deeds. In predominantly Arab east Jerusalem, such ownership disputes are not uncommon.
