Details of what goods will be allowed to enter the Gaza Strip with the easing of the blockade has been confirmed by Israel.

However a “black list” of items such as weapons and materials with a possible military use will be barred or limited.
Hamas, which controls Gaza, said those concessions were of no use. The militant group added that the blockade should be fully lifted.
According to Israel, the blockade of the Palestinian territory is needed in order to prevent the supply of weapons to Hamas.
Materials like steel, cement, fertiliser and chemicals will be allowed in, but under the supervision of the UN or other international agencies.
The Jewish state came under international pressure to ease its four-year blockade after nine activists were killed in an Israeli raid on a flotilla of ships that attempted to carry aid to Gaza in May.
Israel’s confirmation of the easing of its blockade comes on the eve of a visit by the country’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the US in order to meet president Barack Obama.
