The ruler of the UAE emirate of Ras al-Khaimah died at dawn after several months in hospital, official reports say.

The dismembered body of a 9-year-old albino boy has been found in a river on the Burundi-Tanzania border, reports say. (map from cnn.com)

As promised, on Friday Wikileaks released almost 400,000 classified US documents about the war in Iraq.
Julian Assange, the founder of the whistleblowing website defended the release, arguing that the “intimate details” of the conflict were made public in an effort to reveal the truth about the conflict. (more…)
